Towards the end of summer, my boyfriend and I decided to try the ‘couple styles each other challenge’ with a budget of £30. This is the look he chose for me.
He picked this grey checkered mini skirt which I wore with a simple black cami and an orange suede jacket that was a perfect transitional piece from summer to fall. I think he did a really good job actually! You can check out the video here.

Trendy in Tweed
I’m absolutely obsessed with this season’s trends and tweed is definitely amongst the top of my list of faves.
I love colours and cut of this skirt and its definitely giving me a Chanel rockstar kinda vibe! You can definitely dress it up or down for any occasion. I would say just mix it up with your accessories. The skirt is the statement piece in this look, so I just wore it with a basic black turtleneck and black heels.

Mad for Plaid
Another Fall trend that I am living for this year is plaid! There are so many statement plaid pieces you can shop out there but this H&M blazer really stood out to me with its Burberry inspired colours. The quality is amazing and feels like I’m wearing a designer piece; very wearable and timeless. This also comes with a matching skirt!
In this look, I wore a black bodysuit with a cream corduroy trousers to coordinate the blazer but I think you can even add a pop of colour like red or green!

“On Wednesday, we wear pink!”
I think one of the easiest ways to style an outfit is to go monochromatic. Perfect for when you are feeling less creative and lazy with styling. I tend to combine pieces of the same colour but of different shades and textures for a more unique look. Here I channeled my inner Mean Girl and wore one of my favourite colours; pink!

Sporting the Floral
Did you know, that floral is my favourite sPRINT – get it? (cuz I’m on an athletics track…lol)
I wore this flowy wrap dress on several occasions during the warmer autumn months and I just love the colours of this print. I actually have this in the blouse version too…#shopaholic
I think that wrap dresses or button-up dresses like this are great because you can also wear it open like a kimono!
NEW LOOK heels
I honestly can’t get away from fall/autumn without going for preppy style outfit. I love wearing these soft rich colours and feminine pieces such as this tweed skort and knee-high boots!
I can imagine this as something Blair Waldorf would wear in Gossip Girl!

That’s it for my favourite outfits this season. Fall/Autumn is definitely my favourite time of year for fashion which is the worst thing for my wardrobe space and bank account!
